eBook

Amazon Kindle is a .mobi file. Please see the eReader Software Guide in the FAQ section to determine what software is needed to read this file.

iBooks, Nook, etc., is a .ePub file. Please see the eReader Software Guide in the FAQ section to determine what software is needed to read this file.

The Amazon Kindle (Mobi) file will not automatically be loaded to your Kindle device, so you will need to download the file, then side load to your device.

This example shows a Mobi file being saved to a computer, then opened on a Kindle device.

Navigate to the download link found in the eLibrary in your user account.

  2. 2. Click My eLibrary.
  3. 3. Click Download.

Plug your Kindle device into your computer using a USB cord.

Transfer File

  1. 1. Navigate to the folder where the Mobi file was downloaded.
  2. 2. Find the Kindle device on the left and click the arrow to expand the folders.
  3. 3. Click on the downloaded Mobi file and either drag and drop or copy and paste it into the Documents folder.

The Mobi file will now appear on the Home screen of your Kindle device.

Our eBooks can be read on several devices for your convenience. The ePub and Kindle eBook files can be read on a personal computer or handheld device, including iOS or Android devices. The Amazon Kindle can read the Kindle eBook format.

iBooks is a free app compatible with your iOS device that can read our ePub format. This app will most likely already be installed on your device.

Adobe Digital Editions is a free app compatible with your iOS device that can read our ePub format.

Bluefire Reader is a free app compatible with your iOS device that can read our ePub format.

Content is added to our e-book program on a regular basis. If you don't see the title you're looking for now, it may be available soon, so stay tuned. You can also email us with your requests.

Click on the "Change Password" link at the top of the page.

Click on the "Login" link on the top right of the e-bookstore home page to get to the login screen. Type your credentials into the username and password fields and click the "Login" button to access your account.

 

A charge will immediately appear on your credit card statement under the name "Sheridan Books".

Intro to eBooks

The term eBook refers to an electronic version of a book. eBooks can be read on a variety of devices in addition to eReader software on devices such as mobile phones and personal computers. ePub and Kindle eBook files are available for purchase on our site.

eBook formats:

ePub/Kindle eBook: ePub and Kindle eBooks will automatically adjust to fit your screen. These eBooks do not include page numbers, and the text reflows as the reader increases or decreases the font size.  ePubs are readable on your computer, iOS and Adnroid device using Adobe Digital Editions or other software. The Kindle eBook can be downloaded and read on your Kindle device or by using the Kindle Previewer application on a computer. eReader software is a downloadable program that allows the consumer to read eBooks on different types of hardware devices, such as personal computers or mobile phones. For more information see our eReader Software Guide in the FAQ section.
